System Requirements

This page details the system requirements needed to run the program. Make sure your PC has all the features in 'Minimum System Requirements' - or can better them.

Minimum System Requirements.

Operating System: Windows XP, Windows 7, 10 and 11. For both 32 and 64 bit Systems.

Will run also on Mac with Virtual PC Emulation software and on new Mac's under Boot Camp and Windows PC program support.

Will run happily on most PCs (please follow instructions to set MapMate to run as Administrator immediately after Installation) - if on an older version please update to latest. Note that MapMate is a 32 bit program and runs on 64 bit systems in Compatibility Mode.

Processor: Pentium I 133 minimum (faster the better)

Ram: 16MB min (32MB+ recommended, more = better performance)

Screen Area: 800x600 pixels minimum

Hard Disk: 50 MB free (plus about 10 MB per 100,000 records)

Internet Connection and Email account (for installing, sharing records and software updates - not essential)

MapMate software is provided under terms described in our Licence Agreement.
